My work sits at the intersection of creativity, innovation, and purpose. I am driven by a commitment to advancing fashion as both an artistic discipline and a vehicle for cultural expression. My work is born from the tension between structure and softness, tradition and reinvention, the seen and the felt.

Doran is a New York native and North Carolina–based designer with over twenty years of experience in women’s wear, apparel construction, and product development. Her work reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and the full design process.
She holds a BS in Fashion Merchandising and Design from North Carolina A&T
State University and an MEd in Higher Education Leadership from Liberty
University. She is a Doctor Candidate, completing her PhD in Business and Economics with a concentration in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies at UNC Greensboro.
As an entrepreneur, academic scholar, and educator, Doran centers her research on entrepreneurship and advocacy for creative professionals and students of color, advancing the future of fashion through both design innovation and scholarly inquiry.
